Details and RSVP Last Friday we organized and packed the house at the NYC Department of Cultural affairs meeting RE: DIY Spaces after Ghost Ship. We made a strong show of support, they said there hadn't been so many people at one of these meetings.
Many DIY and Alternative Art Spaces unified in one room for an unprecedented discussion. We realized we already have most of the tools we're looking for in the community, if we unify as a network of mutual support.
This meeting fulfills that promise. We will also develop our coalitions final recommendations together for NYC's Cultural Plan.
NYC DIY Spaces post Ghost Ship: Dept of Cultural Affairs Meeting Overview
